Troubleshooting Common Problems
- I didn’t get my PIN SMS. Check that the number on your account is correct. Visit the branch or call 8501.
- My PIN is blocked. Too many wrong attempts will usually lock you out. Contact the branch or the 8501 centre to reset it.
- My transfer to another bank hasn’t arrived. Keep your receipt and call 8501. The contact centre handles A2A transfer disputes, airtime top-up disputes, and Telebirr and M-Pesa disputes.
- USSD isn’t responding. Check your network signal, wait a minute, and dial again. Network congestion is usually the cause.
- I changed my SIM card. Inform the bank. Your mobile banking is tied to your registered number.
